| William George Allan was born in Everett, Washington in 1936. Allan studied at the San Francisco Art Institute. During the 1960s he taught at the University of California in Berkeley and Davis. He currently lives in San Francisco. A modernist, his works are surreal and abstract.
Exhibited: La Jolla Museum, 1971; Art Institute of Chicago, 1972; Indianapolis Museum, 1972.
