The following is from Peter Kostoulakos, AOA, NEAA: Fine Art Consultant, www.pkart.com
William T. Aldrich, a 20th century Boston painter, was a member of the Providence Art Club. Although more prolific in watercolor, he apparently also painted in oil as the Fogg Museum has in their collection an oil portrait on canvas by him of Nelson Wilmarth Aldrich (1841-1915).
Some of the subject matter in Aldrich’s paintings includes figures, children, recreation, sport (showing 500 of 1035 characters). |
