Born in La Porte, Indiana on November 29, 1909. While a resident of Glendale in the 1930s, Bosserman studied at USC, Otis Art Institute, with George W. Carpenter, Marius Smith, Henri de Kruif, and Paul Sample.
During WWII he lived in Seattle where he was a draftsman for the Associated Shipbuilders and served as President of the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters in 1949. He died in Seattle, Washington in August 1985.
