Anthony DeFrancisci was born in Italy, Studied in New York City. Designed U.S. Silver Dollar. World War II discharge insigne.  Congressional Medal of Honor to General J.J. Pershing.  United States Independence  Memorial, Union Square, New York City. 

Represented in many collections and museums.  Former instructor at Columbia College, New York.  Fellow, National Sculpture Society. National Academician. Fellow, American Numismatic Society.  Recipient of many prizes.  Member of Allied Artists, Audubon Artists, Rockport Art Association.
