Biography from Print Club of Albany:
Born in New York City in 1924, Seena Donneson studied at the Pratt Institute and the Art Students League. Her first exhibition of tondos (circular work of art) in 1961 resulted in a series of exhibits touring museums, universities and galleries throughout the US.

Gordon Brown, in Art Voices in 1963, wrote of her work.

In 1966, she exhibited at the Terrain Gallery in NY. Her work was at the Brooklyn Museum 15th National Print Exhibition and circulated by the American Federation of Arts. Her work was in the Pratt Institute's Second International Miniature print exhibition. She was a recipient of a MacDowell Fellowshop in 1963-64. She won awards at the Heckscher Museum, Suffolk Museum, Ball State University and others.

Her work is in the collections of the United States Information Agency, Brooklyn Museum, New York Public Library, Norfolk Museum, Finch College, University of Southern Illinois, Oklahoma University, Cornell Princeton, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Norton Simon Museum and others.

Besides making prints and painting, she also makes sculptures.
