| | Born in Norrkoping, Sweden in 1875. Lindhe was educated in Sweden at the War College. He was commissioned first lieutenant of the Royal First Life Grenadier Regiment and was stationed at Linkoping for four years. He worked as a portraitist in Europe and in Buffalo, New York before moving to Los Angeles in the late 1920s.
