| Born in San Francisco, CA on Sept. 5, 1871. Alice was the daughter of John C. Meussdorffer who made the finest hats on the West Coast during the 19th century.
A pupil of William Keith, she was most active as a painter at the turn of the century. During the latter part of her life she was a florist.
A spinster and lifelong resident of San Francisco, she died there on Aug. 15, 1949. Her rare works include still lifes of fruit and flowers.
