| Born in Los Angeles, CA on Jan. 14, 1905. Lolita Jones studied art under Walter B. Currier while at Lincoln High School. She worked as a commercial art in her native city until her marriage to Frances Olaine in 1933. She then lived in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA until the onset of WWII. Returning to California, she settled in Palo Alto and in the 1960s started an art gallery in the First Methodist Church which she managed into the 1990s.
