Anne Radville Grimmer (American, 1910-2011)
Grimmer studied on scholarship at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1928-1932. She worked as a WPA artist (as did her husband, painter Vernon Grimmer). She was regularly included in exhibits at the Art Institute of Chicago (Artists of Chicago and Vicinity); she also exhibited at the Illinois State Museum: New Horizons in Painting and Sculpture; the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture (Chicago) in 2010, and the N (showing 500 of 830 characters). |
