| Davis Gray, the originator of this series, is an award-winning watercolorist with a national reputation. Mr Gray, a fine arts graduate of Dartmouth College and an alumnus of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, has to his credit a number of watercolor series, of which perhaps the best know are his college scenes. He has won first prize in watercolor at the Springfield Museum of Fine Arts, accumulated numerous awards in painting while at Dartmouth College, and has since exhibited in major New York galleries, as well as in the galleries of The National Academy of Design....
