This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Boston, MA on Feb. 15, 1873. Wesselhoeft studied at the Boston Museum School and with Denman W. Ross. She worked in Cambridge, MA and New York before settling in Santa Barbara, CA in the mid-1920s. She was active as an artist until the early 1940s and remained in Santa Barbara until her death on March 23, 1971. Her work includes watercolors and stained glass windows. Member: Santa Barbara AA; Copley Society. Exh: Berlin, 1912; Calif. Calif. WC Society, 1927-28; State Fair, 1930; Olympiad, LACMA, 1932; Ebell Club (LA), 1934; Palos Verdes AA, 1935. In: NMAA; Fogg Museum (Harvard).
