Known for his work in egg tempera, S. Mark Thompson creates luminous still lifes and figures in a photo-real style. He also does etchings, completing all processes himself. He is a native of Colorado and works high in the Rockies out of a studio filled with objects including musical instruments. He has been a soccer coach and a teacher at the Art Students League in Denver.
He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in commercial art and then worked as a commercial artist in (showing 500 of 1002 characters). |
