| | Portrait painter. Born in Michigan on Jan. 6, 1883. Margaret Taylor studied at the AIC under Ralph Clarkson and in Cincinnati under Duveneck. After settling in Los Angeles in 1911, she opened a studio, exhibited locally, and appears to have married about 1920. In 1959 she moved to Sacramento into a home at 4220 Carnegie Way where she remained until her death on Sept. 7, 1972. Exh: Calif.
