Marjorie McDonald was an extraordinary woman of the 20th century. When she died at 96 in March 1995, she left a legacy in her artwork.
After childhood in Indiana, high school and college in Oregon (where she was an interscholastic tennis champion), and steel head fishing with her husband, John, she became a teacher. She taught at a Portland, Oregon high school and evening courses to Russians (showing 500 of 2466 characters). |
