This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Sacramento, CA on Jan. 24, 1907. Court's ceramics date from 1927. She started painting in the early 1950s and studied with Wayne Thiebaud, Jerry Silva, and Jim Estes. A traditional painter until 1962, she then switched to abstracts. Her husbands were Chas Inderbitzen (1933), Phillip Biddleberger (1959), and Edward Day (1962). The artist was a lifelong resident of her native city and died there on Nov. 24, 1996. Exh: Kingsley Art Club (Sacramento), 1937-56; Calif. State Fairs.
