| | Born in Indiana on Sept. 21, 1886. By 1920 Daler had settled in Los Angeles and was working as a bookkeeper. An active member of the Sierra Club, for 33 years she lead hikes in the mountains and deserts around Los Angeles and often painted while on these excursions.
