| Born in Romania on March 6, 1894. By 1920 Krauss was living in Los Angeles. During the 1920s she taught fashion illustration at the Chouinard Art School. By 1930 she had wed Harold J. Hood and was living in Berkeley. She died in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, 1960. Her rare works include desert landscapes.
