| Ross Valentine Loughran was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 18, 1891. Loughran was a soldier in the Army while in Sausalito in 1910. Following service in WWI, he was in Letterman Hospital in San Francisco in 1920. He then worked as a sign painter in Sacramento and San Francisco until 1938. By 1941 he was living in Medford, Oregon. He died in Clackamas, Oregon in December 1980.
