| Born in Tempe, AZ on Dec. 23, 1905. Active in Los Angeles in the late 1920s, Helen O'Connor studied at the California Art Institute under Carl Oscar Borg and J. Francis Smith.
In 1930 she married artist Tom J. Harter and moved to NYC.
