| Born in Tempe, AZ on Dec. 23, 1905. Active in Los Angeles in the late 1920s, Helen O'Connor studied at the California Art Institute under Carl Oscar Borg and J. Francis Smith.
In 1930 she married artist Tom J. Harter and moved to NYC. In 1937 she settled in Tempe, AZ and remained there until her demise on Feb. 8, 1990. | Source:
