| | Born in Biasca, Switzerland on July 4, 1879. Beatrice was an infant when she and her brother Maurice were brought to San Francisco where her parents had settled years before. In 1905 she married artist Gottardo Piazzoni and allowed her husband to pursue the art career while she, as a musician and housewife, painted in her leisure. Her rare works include still lifes and landscapes. Mrs. Piazzoni died of an embolism in San Francisco on Feb. 2, 1933. Exh: Calif.
