| Born in Spain in 1898. Ramis lived in Spain until he was 22 years old and then sailed to South America. By the earlly 1920s he had moved to San Francisco where he was a pupil of Piazzoni at the CSFA. In 1930 he had a studio in San Juan Capistrano and in 1935 he was based in Santa Barbara. With the outbreak of WWII, his track is lost. His work includes landscapes and figure studies; his paintings of the California missions hung in a Spanish museum on Majorca. Exh: Paul Elder Gallery (SF), 1929; LACMA, 1933; SFAA, 1938; CPLH, 1940 (solo).
