| Armand Honore Teisseire was born in France in 1801. After arriving with the Gold Rush, Teisseire had a studio in San Francisco until his demise in 1881. He painted portraits, figures, and genre. The earthquake in 1906 burned his life’s work and none of his paintings appear to be extant.
Exhibited: Mechanics' Inst. Fair (SF), 1857, 1858, 1864, 1874; SFAA, 1873.
