Moretto da Brescia (originally Alessandro Bonvicino), was active mainly in his native Brescia and the neighborhood. He was the leading Brescian painter of his day and had a large practice as a painter of altarpieces and other religious works, the best of which display (showing 500 of 2090 characters). |
