This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Swiss-born painter, Leon Delachaux often chose interiors and genre as his subjects. He lived primarily in Paris from 1888 and French peasants became the focus of his painting.
From 1879 to 1898, he exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy. Delachaux exhibited two paintings at the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893.
