Maurice Desmond (1944)
Maurice Desmond is a painter who was born in County Louth in northeast Ireland and lives in Cork (southern, Ireland). His mediums are oil, acrylic and mixed mediums. His subjects are primarily landscapes. His style is expressionist.
He studied at Limerick School of Art under Jack Donovan. He also taught at the school for one year after graduating. He has been painting full-time since.His stated influences are Constable, Courbet, Turner and Patrick Collins (showing 500 of 1182 characters). |
