José Díaz (1930-1990)
Born in Campo de Criptana, Spain, in 1930, his family later moved to Carrión de Calatrava.
A self-taught painter, he moved to Madrid in 1952 after his military service, working as a painter and decorator to earn a living. In 1956 he has his first solo exhibition in Valladolid.
He moved to Paris in 1957 and exhibited at the Biennale International De Paris in 1961, 1963 and 1965 being a is finalist in 1961 and 1965. His work wa (showing 500 of 4389 characters).
