Frederick Ladbrooke (1810-1865)
Born at 3 Surrey Street, Norwich on 26 November 1810 and baptized at St John Timberhill six days later, youngest son of artist Robert Ladbrooke (1768-1842) and his second wife Ann née Dorey, who married at St Andrews, Norwich on 27 September 1808. A member of the prolific Ladbrooke family of Norfolk artists with whom he was probably trained as an artist. As a young man he moved to Bury St. Edmund’s where he kept company with Edward Robert (showing 500 of 1299 characters). |
