Born on June 10, 1867 in Kolin, Bohemia, he studied at the "Akademie der Bildenden Künste" in Munich, Germany and then at the "Akademie der Bildenden Künste" in Vienna.
From the early 1890s, he lived in France, mainly at Giverny. From 1892 on he exhibited at the Paris Salon. During this time he also sent his paintings home to Bohemia. After the first World War, Radimsky returned home and specialized in landscapes of the River Elbe region.
