Charles Louis Balzac (1752-1820), architect, designer, man letter and poet,  was part of the Egyptian campaign of Napoleon in 1798 as a draftsman. He then published a Description of Egypt, which became very famous.

"Day Sacred rug that day, took the Sacred Carpet, camel, the road to Mecca. It is intended to adorn the tomb of Muhammad. Cairo sends one every four or five years. It starts with great fanfare after a formal ceremony, both religious, civil and military. Khedive the (showing 500 of 1788 characters).
