After completing his first studies in Koper, Cesare Dell'acqua, from 1833 was in Trieste and from1842 to 1847, he attended the ' Academy of Fine Arts of Venice.
From 1848 he was in Brussels studying with Gallait Louis, where he specialized in the representation of historical events. Between 1852 and 1877 he executed numerous works in Trieste that made him famous and in demand.
In 1873 he participated at the World Exhibition in Vienna and then wen London the following ye (showing 500 of 800 characters). |
