|  Jens Holger Drachmann was born in Denmark in 1880. Drachmann studied painting with his father, Holger Drachmann and at the Royal Danish Academy. Shortly after the turn of the century he immigrated to New York City. By 1914 he had moved to Los Angeles where he remained until his demise on Nov. 14, 1929.
