This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Please note: Artists not classified as American in our database may have limited biographical data
compared to the extensive information about American artists.
Born in Jalisco, Mexico, González Serrano began painting at an early age, but it was not until 1943 that González Serrano began exhibiting
at the Primer Salón de Arte Libre that took place at the Palacio de Bellas Artes. A year later he again exhibited at Bellas Artes and had his first individual exhibition at the Galería Decoración.
Between 1947 and 1949, González Serrano took part in a collective exhibition along with Juan Soriano, Jesús Guerrero Galván and Francisco González Camarena.
