Henry William (Harry) Hine (1845-1941)
Born at St. Pancras, London in 1845, son of Henry George Hine, illustrator on Punch and Illustrated London News, and his wife Mary Ann Eliza née Egerton, who married at Lambeth in 1840. Formerly a mate in the merchant navy but by 1871 a 26 year old general draughtsman living at 26 Park Road, Hampstead with his parents, 59 year old Henry, a landscape painter, born Brighton, Sussex and his 54 year old wife Mary, born Finsbury, Londo (showing 500 of 2289 characters). |
