 Peter Le Vasseur was born in 1938 in St Peter Port Guernsey. He trained at Harrow Art School, London. He has exhibited in one man shows at galleries in London. He has participated in mixed exhibitions at The Carnegie Hall, New York, Museum of Modern Art Tehran, in Berlin, Frankfurt, Copenhagen. In recent years he has had regular one man shows in the Channel Islands.
His pictures display a unique degree of attention to detail and often contain strong ideological themes. During the last 15 years he has developed an interest in ecology and conservation and his pictures reflect this interest.
