Emile Charles Joseph Loubon was a French painter, known for his landscapes of Provence.  He was the son of Augustin François Loubon, merchant, and Anne-Therese Michel. He studied drawing under the direction of Jean-Antoine Constantin, François Marius Granet and Louis Mathurin Clerian, the later whom was Director of the art school of Aix, which had the greatest influence on Loubon.

In 1829, Granet invited Loubon to accompany him for a study trip to Rome, where he studied  archite (showing 500 of 2304 characters).
