Michael Horsley-Millman, 1923-1992
Born Michael Arthur Gordon Horsley, in “Westfields” Farnham, Surry, England, 1923. He attended St Nicholas boarding school, Littlehampton, England, from 1932 to 1937.
He began painting while serving in the RAF. His work was first exhibited at the University of Toronto in 1942, during a tour of duty in Ontario, Canada. In 1945 he studied art under Sir Francis Rose and took lessons from Augustus John. He studied at Camb (showing 500 of 2154 characters). |
