Charles Réal was born in Bordeaux, France in 1898.
He was a painter of a wide range of subjects, he painted scenes from the circus, bars and nightclubs, and nudes.
The artist exhibited regulary at the Salon d'Automne in Paris of which he was a member.
His style was that of the Post Impressionists, in technique and use of colors.
Réal died on the 2nd of January 1979.
