Bob Holloway was born in Centralia, Missouri, in 1927. He is an award-winning advertising illustrator and painter. His favorite mediums are oil painting, pen-and-ink and mixed media: pen-and-ink colored with oil. He has exhibited his work at art fairs and shows around the country for 50 years, and exhibits at shows from Cape Cod to Kansas, Minnesota to Texas.
Bob Holloway spent 40 years as an art director and illustrator, eventually forming his own agency, and later Bob Holloway Studio and Gallery. He retired from advertising work in 1988 to specialize in paintings of famous figures and settings with a "Where's Waldo?" theme. In 1952 he participated in his first art fair. Since then he has won numerous awards for his paintings and drawings. For 26 years he exhibited at the Country Club Plaza Art Fair in Kansas City, Mo., then moved in 1979 to become co-founder of Art Westport.
