Zinaida Zatsepina was a Soviet painter who participated in numerous Russian exhibits and several international art shows. She painted portraits, still lifes and landscapes, earning accolades from the demanding Soviet audience.
Zatsepina was born in 1913 in Novaya Kalitva, Voronezh, a small village. In 1929, she finished middle school and worked as an artist, correcting government photos in Novo-Khopersk. She began studying art education at Tambov Art College in 1933 and gradua (showing 500 of 2221 characters). |
