An illustrator and painter of American Historical sites, she studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1971 she was asked to illustrate a book on the American Revolutionary War period as part of a collection of books about the American Bicentennial. The assignment required her to travel to historic locations to paint the actual scenes. She developed a fascination with her subject matter and in the ca. 40 years since this first assignment, her portfolio (showing 500 of 1109 characters). |
