 Prince, Louis Stanley Maurice (1894-1985)
Born at Halstead, Essex on 26 September 1894, son of George Edwin Prince, assistant manager in a silk works, and his wife Elizabeth née Rollison, who married at Macclesfield in 1886. Watercolour landscape painter. Exhibited at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool; the New English Art Club and the Royal Academy 1923-1940 from Leigh, Lancashire in 1923, London 1926 and 1930, Stanway, Colchester 1928 and Sudbury, Suffolk in 1935. He died at Braintree Essex in 1985.
