| Living in Weston, Vermont and born on Long Island, Harry Dayton is a landscape painter especially influenced by the California style of watercolor painting. He showed art interest and talent from childhood, and his mother was his first teacher.
He studied art at John Brown University, at the Whitman School of Design in Manhattan, and with Jean Koroluck, Fank Webb and Christopehr Schink.
