British artist Thomas Fairfax was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire in 1960. When asked how long he has been painting, his prompt reply is “for as long as I can remember.”
After graduating from college, Fairfax began work as a commercial artist. His first full time job was with a Manchester Graphics & Photography Agency. However, Fairfax remained at the job for only a year. He made the decision to pursue a career as a wildlife painter.
