| Helen Elle was born in Pennsylvania on Sept. 21, 1873. Helen wed about 1893 and lived in her native state during her early married life. By 1930 she and daughter Edith had moved to Los Angeles. Mrs. Elle died in San Diego, CA on March 12, 1964. Her known works include colorful depictions of southern California.
