| Painter. Born in Norway in 1860. By the 1880s Boe had moved to San Francisco and established an art-framing shop. In his leisure he made painting excursions with follow Norwegian, Carl Jonnevold. After the earthquake and fire destroyed his shop, he moved across the bay to Berkeley. He died there on Oct. 6, 1936.
