| Miwa Koide (1899-1997)
A resident of San Diego, Koide painted portraits, landscapes, still lives and local scenes.
Her name and her apparent husband’s name appear in records of Japanese internees during WWII.
Many of the paintings were from the late 1960s and early 70s. Her works sometimes bear inscriptions in Japanese and/or incorporate a charm symbol.
