This biography from the Archives of AskART:
From Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, John Busyaeger was a prolific fraktur artist, whose work is in the well-known fraktur collection of the Brockelbank family, which has been donated to the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.

Busyaeger taught school in Brush Creek near Greensburg for about 30 years.  His frakturs included the usual documents such as birth, death and marriage certificates, but he also did frakturs that had symbolic and spiritual connotations.

Kathleen Luhrs, "Museum accession", The Magazine Antiques, July 2008
