From his studio in Brooklyn, Steven Brower is one of the artists "who purposely obfuscate the distinction between fiction and reality". For a 2008 New York gallery exhibition he brought together eight years worth of collected objects as part of his imaginary space-related one-man corporation, Brower Propulsion Laboratory, modeled on NASA. From his control center he broadcasts live camera feeds, most recently based from a spacecraft that closely resembles the Mars Sojourner Rover.
