Biography from Trails West LLC (Hy-Trading Western Art):
Chip Drusch was born December 15, 1930, and was raised on a farm in southern Minnesota.  From a young age Drusch was an active participant in the arts, first as a musician opening for some notable acts, then as a master saddle maker, silversmith and engraver.  Always a lover of fine art Drusch decided to express his artistic abilities as a landscape artist primarily working in oil.

Largely self taught, Drusch has done work that resides in private collections in the US and abroad including commissions for then President Lyndon Johnson and then Louisiana Governor Jimmy Davis.  The Johnson commission, it is said, was one of the President’s favorite pieces and was exhibited at the National Archives, Washington DC.  It is now part of the permanent collection at the Johnson library.

Drusch resided in Texas and Nevada before settling in Manhattan, Montana calling it home since 1976.
