| Ruth Austin West ( May 12, 1913- March 9, 1994)
Painting primarily in watercolor, her subject matter were mostly landscapes and farms of the Bucks County, Pennsylvania area.
She was born in New Hope, PA and was valedictorian of her class at New Hope High School. She went on to study at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. She was influenced by the Pennsylvania Impressionists and was a friend of Fern I Coppedge.
